They still exist, but Bush and McCain's war in Iraq has had them keep troops from fighting Al Qaeda where they are, in Afghanistan.  Obama is the only one who has been saying this the whole time.

Of course they exist. They fell apart in Iraq, but they are alive and well in Pakistan, and they are also gaining ground in North Africa.
