  1. First and foremost, I would like to point out that John Mccain is my friend Jesus's friend.

We all know what is on everyone elses minds:

    JOHN MCCAIN IS ******* OLD.

  2. he is one of these guys:

  3. Up to now McCain's motto was "war, war, war...drill,drill, drill"

Now a new word appeared in his lexicon : "reform"

Obviously borrowed from Obama. However, if Obama's change is well thought in details and well articulated , McCain's 'reform' is a complete mystery to everybody including republicans.

Sarah Palin (nickname 'barracuda') has 20 mths experience in an office and know nothing about anything whatsoever.

  4. He's just like a really really old George W. Bush.

  5. I like McCain, I'm a pretty conservative rep and don't always agree with him but I like the cut of his jib, so to speak...he has the right stuff in other words. I really like his pick...Sarah Palin seems like she is really grounded in her beliefs and will do best for america and not care about polls...just like mccain...

  6. I think that McCain is a good person, since he served the country and everything, but I don't agree with a majority of his policy choices and I don't think that Palin brings anything new to the table (besides being a Woman).

  7. hahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahahahahah...

he looks like a fat frightened turkey.

  8. i think john mccain is gonna be the sexiest black female president EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hes gonna paint the whitehouse pink and dance naked on the front lawn with his wild turkeys!

  9. he basically stands for all of president bush's economic policies, and has been in support of the war from day one...while he hasn't been afraid to challenge his party in the past, it's clear that he's all on the republican oil-producing, moneymaking bandwagon on all the major issues...if you want four more years of george w., then mccain's your man

  10. He's amost invisible compared to Obama until now.

  11. I feel sorry for Alaska... you are about to lose a helluva governor.

  12. After watching his speech last night, Obama seemed to be a lot of hot air. He kept saying "We need change!", but he didn't start talking about how he was going to change America till the last ten minutes. And what he said worried me. The only way he could make good on all of the promises he made was government intervention (a.k.a. Socialism). I'm an American living in Canada, and I can tell you right now that what Obama is planning on implementing in the States is exactly like the social programs in Canada. That means higher taxes, more regulations, corrupt and unelected regulatory bodies, and a general suppression and submission of the people. I pray that Americans can realize this, and not allow their freedoms to be wooed away by a charismatic young leader.

Obviously I believe that a restoration of traditional values (and especially those rights in the Constitution) is in the best interest of the people. And any candidate that supports these values is the better of two evils. Though McCain may not be as charismatic or well-spoken as Obama, he is a man of integrity and values, and I believe he has the experience and the motivation (especially with his new running mate) to make meaningful change in America.

  13. Im very invested in this election,

I really feel like America has fallen 6 feet under in the

past 8 years, and watching the National Democratic Convention

showed me how we could get out of that, with Obama as president.

Honestly I think we will keep slipping under,

and our country will fail if we elect Mcain.

He does not know how to do what is best for this country,

and hes really just another Bush.

  14. McCain says and does first "what is good for the country Then what is good for his party...", and he has gotten in fights with many of his fellow republicans, making his words more that just words but also deeds to back his stance!!

He has sided with Democrats like Ted Kennedy to get things done for America many times in the past…

    That’s real honor!

..And that is why he is NOT Bush or McBush like the Obama morons want to make him look so they can win…

... and why he has been called the original Washington Maverick McCain!. …loved by even the liberal media until recently when they got they new man Obama.

You show me that kind of courage and character in Obama....!

Obama is not smart...just greatly scripted...but us who have been looking at him closely knew he was a "Manchurian Candidate" from the beginning!

    Obama lost without a teleprompter

You show me and everyone here when IF at any time Obama has crossed party lines to get things done!

    he has done it...never!

also, ….McCain son Jimmy McCain is a Marine and is IN Iraq fighting!!!!

...oh never mind that McCain is also a real American hero!

he has my vote, and many of my vet friends votes!

  15. Palin is a stupid lady who has little to know experience and she loves guns, kids and oil and gas...who cares...McCain made a HUGE mistake but he didn't have any hope anyways....Oh yea and she can't speak worth a sh** either...she has NO hope going into debates.are all people in Alaska that stupid????

    Obama 08

Don't NOT vote for Obama just because he's black, if you do your IGNORANT!

  16. I used to like him until he picked Palin for VP

Now, he is just using sexism to pander to the woman vote.  He is not acting on his morals, he is pandering to the Clinton supporters.  That is not the reason to choose a VP.

  17. Well, to get you more caught up on things, John McCain will give you 4 more years of what the last 8 years were.  He's just another George Bush term.  Think about this before voting for him.

It doesn't matter what Sarah Palin thinks.  She was chosen by McCan't to try and get the women's vote.  lol.

  18. someone answered well.  She said he is a friend of Jesus's (well, ok then)... but she said he is freakin' old... and that is true.

I never really thought about it until I watched a repeat on the news of his naming Mrs. Palin as his VP candidate.  I thought to myself "Well, if he passes away because of his age, we'd get our very first woman President." and it did not scare me.

So, in that, I figure that Mr. McCain, a national hero, a selfless officer of the United States military, and a seasoned politician with knowledge, experience, and ideas, made a good choice in Mrs. Palin.

My problem with him is that some of his words come out not sounding like I think he means them to be.  He is "old school" which means that his thought processes and beliefs may be too much from a time gone by.

He is not nearly as conservative as most republicans, so his choice in Mrs. Palin was made to help bring conservatives on board.  Now if her being a nice looking lady is an issue, then someone needs to clean their glasses enough to see what value she has in the world, not just in the eyes of perverts.

No one chose her because of her gender.  She was chosen because of her firm stance against the powers of big oil.  Isn't that a hoot?  A republican who has waged complaints AGAINST big oil?  Who has chosen to take care of her people?  That is just cool to me.

I need to read up more on Mrs. Palin, but so far it seems like a very good idea.

She may be the voice of reason that Mr. McCain needs when dealing with the foreign affairs that the US has on its plate these days.

  19. McCain really hasnt promised anything beyond winning the Iraq war, and continuing the presidents economic policies, like tax cuts for the wealthies americans. He has been attacking so much that its hard to remember where he plans to take the US.
