Wait a second Ol buck, who says I was never torchered? I was covered in diaper sores and neglected, put in foster care, adopted by my aunt, beaten by my step father, sexually abused by a neighbor, and watched my step father break my mothers arm, black her eye, and shatter a mirror over her, then throw he out in the snow bleeding when I was 8. Come on son, what you talking bout Willis?

  1. if it's between you and McCain- you've got my vote!

  2. John McCain's hardship was the result of voluntary service in the military, and honorable actions while fighting and as a POW.  Your situation, while it may have been horrible, was involuntary on your part.

  3. you should also get teary eyed like mccain did tonight, and maybe win over more people that way

  4. Because;

    A) You were never tortured, deprived of food, beaten for speaking to your fellow Americans, or forced to exist in a louse infested bamboo cage eating rice with maggots.

    B) You undoubtedly haven't served your country honorably as he has.

    C) because you are a dumb-*** who has no clue what SACRIFICE or HONOR mean!

  5. Because he hasn't whined about it like you're doing.

  6. You can run for president and you can have a pity party but you will not be president.  He is not getting pity for being in a POW camp he is getting respect because most people who would go through anything like that would find it difficult to move on and accomplish anything.  He took something difficult and empowered himself.  He does not have pity for himself.  He is tough and determined to use the past.  He knows exactly how the troops feel.  Word.
