John Terry wouldn’t mind Guus Hiddink or Mark Hughes as new Chelsea manager – Premier League News
Chelsea http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/John-Terry-c18895 has gone on to admit that it would be wonderful for Chelsea, if they managed to land Guus Hiddink as their manager. However, he also went on to state that he wouldn’t mind if Mark Hughes was named boss
of Chelsea either.
Terry admitted, that the swift departure, following the termination of Carlo Ancelotti as Chelsea manager, left him feeling a little sad. When Terry was stripped of his captaincy for England, it was Ancelotti who had the player’s back the whole time and
as a result they developed a deep bond and a strong relationship.
When talking about Ancelotti, Terry is quoted to have said: "I was very sad to see Carlo go. He was a great man, a great manager and supported me a lot over the (England) captaincy.
However, the player then turned his attention to Hiddink, who helped the Blues claim the FA Cup in 2009.
Terry when talking about Hiddink, went on to add: "He came in for a short space of time and we won the FA Cup under him.”
"I have great memories of him, he is someone I have been in contact with since he left the club.”
Following Mark Hughes departure as Fulham boss, the manager is being linked with a move to both Aston Villa and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786. Despite the manager not managing to achieve much in recent years, Terry has claimed that he wouldn’t mind if Hughes came into the side
as their new manager.
Terry then went on to add: "Mark Hughes would have the qualities, I think he has shown that for sure, (he is) someone the club will hopefully be talking to.
"If he is linked in, it will be welcome to the players."
According to most experts, despite both Hughes and Hiddink being linked with moves to the Stamford Bridge, Hiddink is still the favourite to land the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684. This is because the manager has far better experience, when it comes to handling bigger teams. At the
same time, the manager has already proven that he could do wonders with Chelsea, after he helped the team win the FA Cup, despite only being their manager for a short period of time.
Nonetheless, considering both the managers have their set of limitations, it is still anyone’s guess as to who will be named new boss of Chelsea. However, whatever decision is made, will be made public in the coming weeks.
