If Olivier Giroud and Younes Belhanda have been under the spotlight all season, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/John-Utaka-c18898 has also done equally well for Montpellier Herault. The Nigerian has done pretty well and could play a key role against Dijon
Surprising league leaders of the season, Montpellier Herault have been absolutely stunning to say the least. Walking on water, La Paillade are in a state of grace since the beginning of the campaign. Solid in defence, creative in midfield and lethal in attack,
the Mosson fans are enjoying life at the moment.
It must be said that the team made by Rene Girard can totally rely on Olivier Giroud and Younes Belhanda. The two men have been phenomenal and their performances have been unmatched.
However, such success has made their future at the club a big issue and headache for president Loulou Nicollin.
Furthermore, the duo is set to miss Montpellier’s game against Dijon. Giroud is suspended for the game while Belhanda has a thigh injury. Though Belhanda’s injury is not that serious, Girard does not want to risk his player who will play a big role in the
club’s final furlong for the campaign.
However, it is John Utaka who would be looking to lead Montpellier’s attack without Giroud’s instincts and Belhanda’s creativity. The Nigerian international scored the only goal of the game in his side’s home win over Bordeaux and should be looking to repeat
the same feat in Dijon.
While talking to L’Equipe, the former Portsmouth man spoke about the beautiful position his team is in.
The striker says that he is ok with being out of the spotlight and admitted that he arrived at the club in poor form. At Portsmouth, the Nigerian faced a lot of problems but said that those events made him a strong person.
“We tried to get out because there was nothing. Either you let go of everything or tighten up and wait for an investor. Every day, we hoped for things to improve. I was lucky that Montpellier bought me. Experience in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 has given me a huge mental strength.
When I saw hard times, I remember to stay strong. I am free that I’ve found my best.”
Certainly the Nigerian’s bad experience has made him a stronger man and he will be looking to carry Montpellier’s burden on his shoulders when they face a good Dijon side.
