John Wall could return after missing four games

The 2010 first overall pick John Wall could return from a sprained left foot when the Washington Wizards host the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday 23 November at the Verizon Center.

Wall, who is averaging 18.1 points and 9.8 assists for the Wizards this season, missed four-straight game, but he is slowly recovering and he managed to practice with the team. He was on
the active list in their 115-110 loss against the Detroit Pistons on Sunday 21 November.

Although the 20-year-old guard has already participated in the full practice session of the Wizards, head coach Flip Saunders said that Wall experienced soreness after practice, making him
unsure whether he would play Wall or sit him out for one more game.

“Haven't thought about that, will worry about it when the time comes,” said Saunders when asked about Wall’s availability. “We're going to wait and see, play it by ear and see how it feels
and what our medical people think.”

Without Wall in their last four games, Gilbert Arenas started for the Wizards and contributed well along with Kirk Hinrich in the back-court, averaging a combined 32.3 points and 14.1 assists
per game.

“I think we're both getting our time handling the ball and making decisions,” said Hinrich. “It's easy to play with a guy like Gilbert. He can make you look good. He can make tough shots
and stretch the defense and the defense has to respect him. It's one of those things where we've kind of naturally played well together.”

Arenas, who scored 19 points and dished out a career-high 16 assists in their loss against the Pistons, said that he is willing to come off the bench again once John Wall is back in full-strength,
and reiterated that he will not have a hard time adjusting with the rookie sensation.

“This is John's team,” said Arenas, who is averaging 15.9 points and 4.7 assists per game this season. “So when he gets back, everybody falls back into place. I'll be coming back off the
bench as the sixth man, and then from there, we'll find our way.”
