Tendulkar is considered to be one of the greatest batsmen of all times, having scored more than 33 thousand runs in international cricket, with the help of 100 centuries.

There has been a lot of pressure on the batting-maestro as well, who just managed to score 63 runs in three Test innings against New Zealand at home this year.
Wright, who has worked as India’s coach in past, expressed that Tendulkar faced same kind of problems earlier as well but believes that the 39-year-old cricketer has it in him to overcome such issues in future.
"If I am not wrong, he gets bowled mostly to left-armers. I remember him getting bowled to West Indies' http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pedro-Collins-c2174 too a few years ago. But I don't think there is a technical flaw or a matter of serious concern. He is good enough to overcome these challenges," Wright told The Hindu.
The former left-handed batsman is of the view that every cricketer goes through lean patches but that does not mean the end of one’s career. The former India coach believes that the great batsman should be allowed to take a decision on his retirement himself.
He added, "If you are up for 23 years, at some point of time there will be troughs. I am sure he is aware that he is not at the peak of his career and it is up to him to decide [on his retirement]."
Tendulkar has a great chance of making amends for his poor performances during the upcoming Test series against England at home.
