John casablancas? waste of time or no?

Question

I went to a open call last saturday....and she told me she loved me...but that i have to take classes..and they're like $2000. She said talk to ur parents and let me know...So I came home and searched for their agency and found out that they are a rip off and i wasn't going to pay that much anyways...I get a call today and she's like oh what happened...im like well i can't pay that much money...She's like well I want to tell you that YOU don't have to pay anything ...We're going to offer the classes to you for free...I don't know what to do...I feel like they are shady and it's going to be a waste of time but then again if it's free what's the harm in trying...help please!!!!!
