Johnny Messners Angel shooting roses tattoo?

Anyone know what painting the tattoo on Johnny Messners shoulder is. It is off a 17th century painting and is an angel with an arrow shooting roses. What is the painting called

I am looking, but not having much luck. It might be a French painter, possibly Bouginair (sp?) or some name like that.

I did find this image, which made me wonder if there is a goddess or some story that this image is about.,

Often times old images of winged goddesses are hard to distinguish from angels.

Ferris-Mai is a winged creater goddess (mother of the gods and creator of all things) often depicted with flowers:

But, I do not know. It may be a generic female angel. Female angels became predominant in art during the Renaissance.
