Johnny Nelson believes David Haye should hit Wladimir Klitschko low – Boxing news
Former World Boxing Organisation’s cruiserweight World Champion, Johnny Nelson, believes the current World Boxing Association’s World Heavyweight Champion David Haye should hit Wladimir Klitschko low.
David ‘The Hayemaker’ Haye is set to face the International Boxing Federation, World Boxing Organisation, International Boxing Organisation and Ring Magazine world heavyweight champion, Wladimir Klitschko in a unification bout for the heavyweight titles
on July 2, 2011 at Imtech Arena in Hamburg, Germany.
The Entertainer Nelson stated if he was David, he would have fought dirty. Sheffield’s Nelson, who won 45 of his 55 fights including 29 by the way of a knockout, reckons his countryman Haye needs to get as close as possible so that he finds a point to upset
his opponent.
“In my opinion, if I was David, and I hope the referee isn’t listening, I’d fight dirty. When he comes inside catch him down low, break his concentration and rattle him,” Nelson said.
He added Haye knows that Dr. Steelhammer, Klitschko, likes to be in control of the fight all the time and therefore the best thing he should do is to find a way to upset him.
While speaking on his inclusion, he remarked, “Rattle Wladimir because one thing David keeps saying is this guy likes to be in control and he likes to control everything and everyone around him. So if he can get this man angry and he can get him to take
his mind off his game-plan by complaining to the referee.”
He added, “He’s got to get to the point where this guy just wants to kill him and in doing that, that gives David more chance than anything.”
The Haye-Wladimir bout has gained a lot of hype ahead of the fight. This fight is also being considered as one of the biggest in British history and hopefully it will break all viewership records.
Let’s see whether the 30-year-old, Haye, who has won 25 of his 26 fights including 23 by the way of a knockout, beats Klitschko or not.
