Johnny Walker Black smelling and tasting a little like tequila?

Has anyone else had the experience of ordering Johnny Walker Black (on the rocks) from a bar or club and having it smell a little like tequila? You know... instead of it tasting charcoaly, there's a hint of tequila. It's happened on several occasions, and my buddies say the same thing. I don't know if it's the pour spout, it they refill the bottles with c**p whisky, or if the distributer sells bars fake Black or what?

Anyone know why? And if it helps, I drink in the city (NYC).

That's happened to me too!!! My buddy and i think they refilling the bottles with c**p.

I would start going to different bars if I were you, Johnny Walker Black should not look, taste or smell anything like tequila
