Johnson 1988 3 cyl 35HP Outboard engine fuel oil mixture ratio?

I have had to cut off automatic fuel oil mixing pump, and now I need to premix oil. What ratio shoould I use 75:1 or 50:1?

    curious, there's no 35hp 3-cyl johnsons, but there is a 1988 3-cyl 65hp


  2. The correct oil mix is 50:1.   But I don't remember a 3 cly in 1988 with 35 HP.   The 2 cylinder was 55 HP.....the 3 cly was 60 or more.  They were changing how they measured HP back in those days, but if you had oil injection, 50:1 VOR was good.  Just put in one pint for every 6 gal of fuel.
