Following weeks of no one talking about the Suarez-Evra incident, it seems like Johnson has reopened the issue once again.
The Reds defender has gone on to side with his team mate, as he believes Evra had a plan to make Suarez look bad in front of the media.
Suarez had served an eight game ban for some racist comments that he made towards Evra earlier in the season. Following his return to the side, he was set to take on Manchester United once again. Prior to the start of the game, there was a lot of talk about
what would happen when Suarez and Evra met once again.
Before the kick off, of the match, Suarez and Evra came across each other and it seemed like Suarez refused to shake hands with the United defender.
However, Johnson believes that Evra was very reluctant to extend his hand and made it seem like he didn’t want to shake the Uruguayans hand in the first place.

"Because - I'm not being funny - but if I wanted to shake your hand I would stick it right out in front of me. But if my hand is down almost by my side, then it's because I really don't want to shake your hand.”
"Luis didn't shake because Evra's hand was down there. What else is Luis supposed to do? Would you go to shake someone's hand if it is way down there by their side? Course not.”
The defender also feels that Evra had carefully thought of what to do prior to the game, since it seemed to be a little too carefully planned.
Johnson then ended by stating: "He's following Luis with his eyes as if to say: 'Right, he's gone, so I'll pull him back now...' Evra probably stayed up all night thinking about how to do that. The whole thing is ridiculous."
