Joining AIESEC at age 20, does it make sense?

I'm 20 yrs of age and joined AIESEC yesterday. All the new recruits like me are kids aged 17-18. Even the Vice-Presidents of the local committee are 18 yrs of age and I dont think I'd be comfortable taking orders from people younger to me !

I'm basically in it to intern. But I dont really know whether I should continue or not. Also, time is most certainly an issue given that I'm in my Final yr. of graduation.

Is joining AIESEC worth it? How can it facilitate growth in my career?

  1. since u hv already joined it, make the best of it.  get involved in its activities and u can see yourself growing - outlook, mind mapping, strategic thinking will hv new dimensions.

not to worry - taking orders fr younger pple is quite fast to adjust.  when u start working life, u will / may experience it.  so might as well get started. its the position that person is occupying tt's relevant.

    all the best
