Joining college sports teams

Question

Is it possible to join a sports team in college if you never did sports in high school? How much harder would it be to start in college?

A little more challenging yes. I think it would be like watching an episode of MADE on mtv. Students in college that play on the teams are normally the best of the best. But that goes for which school you attend. If it's a smaller college then you may have more luck, but I go to Indiana University, so our athletes are mostly there on scholarships because of their high talent levels.
