Question:

Joining or leaving members?

As a listowner I´ve put my setting so that there would be a notification upon joining or leaving members. It stopped working years ago. So I set up a control mailaddress and it worked fine. For a while. Now they both don´t show joiners nor leavers. What to do?Another new control address? Put setting different and change again (tried that, several times, doesn´t work). Really like to be notified.

Thanks Carla

  1. Sign in to group.

Click on Edit Membership near top of page.

Scroll down to the very bottom of page.

    Select from these choices:

    # Notify me when a member joins/leaves this group or there are new files in the Files area.

    # Notify me when there are pending messages, photos or memberships which require approval.

    # Notify me when there are pending messages which have been identified as possible spam.

Make sure to click on Save changes.

These notices are auto-sent to yourgroupname-owner@yahoogroups.com

(Your actual group name appears instead of "yourgroupname")

If you continue having problems with this, contact Yahoo customer care using the Yahoo Group Help form:

  2. I'd go double check the settings (and for any reading who want to look) from the homepage click edit membership top middle near title- scroll down and you'll see the 3 notices- check any or all- click save changes
