Joining the Arm force?

I am interested to join the Arm force in the United states,I really confuse that where I should apply ?Army or national guard

When enlisting in NY watch out for SCAM recruiters like ARMED FORCES MCSS at 166-30 Jamaica Ave, Jamaica, NY. These creeps liars and phonies are NOT REAL MILITARY RECRUITERS and are NOT authorized to do any type of military recruiting. They will scam you, steal your identity, use your credit cards, take your money and then they will harass you. They have no respect for those who want to serve this country.  Armed Farces MCSS. The United States Gov't warns against these types of businesses they now call "MCSS Scams", where private civilians running civilian stores deceive customers, often soldiers, to believe that they are buying from a real military MCSS but it is FAKE. Often the proprietors of the store exploit their loose link  with the military or go so far as pretending to be actual military officers to gain acces and privilage. Often these stores will lure victims with promises of recruitment and promise them special recruiting and scholarships and a future with the military that they have no control over. These vicious predetors set up their victims for a big let down. Often the victims will put out large sums of money for what they are told are authorized or approved military clothing items, only to find that their items are substandard after-market non approved items that they cannot use in any real military application.  Go to a REAL military recruiting center. DO NOT GO TO ARMED FORCES MCSS if you want to joint the military.
