I currently have the following qualifications:

-9GCSE

-2A-levels

-14 hours flying (private lessons)

-Duke of edinbourgh Gold award

-First class cadet at Air Training Corp (2006)

what other qualifications or things can i get which would boost my worth and make me stand out more. Looking for something which would take a couple of weeks/months to do because i can't apply after the age of 23.(currently 18 years old)

Im applying for pilot position.. i haven't booked an interview yet!

  1. I think your best option would be to go down to your local recruiting office and ask them. You may be OK as you are but with 5 years to play with I'd be tempted to look for a University course in the Clearing lists and then join the University Air Cadets once there.

With the bonus of a degree and the extra flying you'll get from the Air Cadets you should be a shoe in for an Officers position when you leave Uni.
