  1. You need to contact a local recruiter. You need to be in good health (no history of asthma, mental health problems, major surgiers and other conditions can be disqualifying). You criminal record will be checked, even things that aren't officially on your record can be disqualifying. You need to be within weight standards. If you have a college degree and you graduated with at least a 3.0 GPA  and score well on the officer qualification test, you may be able to apply for officer training school. OTS is competitive and the getting an officer slot can take a long time. You can enlist, which pays less, but gives you a regular pay check much sooner. Also, after one year of being enlisted you can apply for OTS, and your odds are much better applying as an enlisted person. Good Luck!
