Joint favourites Boherna Mac and Ballymac Elite in contention for the Grade OR Stadium Bookmakers Sprint Trophy
The Grade OR Stadium Bookmakers Sprint Trophy will take place at Nottingham today, 9th April, at 21:37 GMT.

This race will be an exciting one because of the talented lineup it has reeled in.
The six hounds competing in this race are:
Boherna Mac,
Ballymac Elite,
Romeo At Risk,
Moany Tony,
Confident Martin, and
Spearhead.
Boherna Mac and Ballymac Elite will race as joint favourites, with winning odds of 3 to 1.
Boherna Mac, son of Ballymac Maeve, out of Boherna Pet, won two races in a row, but his hat-trick was prevented by a finish in last place.
The M. Siddall trained hound triumphed in the Grade A1 462m Flat race at Kinsley on 10th March, 2012, where he raced as a favourite with odds of 6 to 4.

With his brisk pace, the hound triumphed over Ring Ouzel, by a narrow margin of ½ a length in 27.70 seconds.
He brought his winning momentum in the Grade A1 462m Flat race at the same track on 31st March, 2012.

This time he won by a slightly larger margin of 1 ½ lengths in the Grade A1 462m Flat race, as he defeated On The Prowl, in 27.72 seconds.
He finished last in the Grade A1 462m Flat race at Kinsley. He finished in 28.85 seconds against the winner, Tynwald Quid’s time of 27.45 seconds on 7th April, 2012.
This will be the second start at Nottingham for Boherna Mac, as he previously performed here on 9th December, 2011.

He missed the victory by a short-head to, Skane Meadows, in the Grade IT BAGS Track Championship Sprint.
Ballymac Elite, son of Elite State, out of Ballymac Em, has a considerable advantage over Boherna Mac, familiarity with the track.

He has more starts here than compared to all the other hounds in the line-up.
Under the training of R. Devenish, his performance is improving. He finished as a runner-up in the Grade A1 420m Flat race at Peterborough on 30th March, 2012.

He entered the race as a favourite with odds of 5 to 4, but fell a short-head shy of the victory to Superstar Tina.
He raced as a favourite with the odds of 4 to 5 in the Grade A1 420m Flat race at the same track, on 10th March, 2012.

He finished 1 ¾ lengths ahead of, Shes Relentless, in 25.56 seconds.
It will be a close race between these two runners.
They have been performing extremely well recently, but Ballymac Elite may have a slight advantage over Boherna Mac.
