Joint problems and CRP level of six?

I had a blood test as i have problems with my joints and i have also had a rheumotology appointment and i received a cc of the letter and it mentions that i have a crp level of six and was wondering what this meant?

  1. CRP is a non-specific inflammatory marker. Normal is generally less than 3. However 6 is only slightly elevated and not really diagnostic on it's own of any particular condition.
