Fulham manager, Martin Jol has rubbished the speculations that the Whites forward, Clint Dempsey will be heading out of Craven Cottage, indicating that no club has made a formal approach for him as yet.
The American International is currently the leading goal scorer for the Cottagers with 22 scalps in all competitions, and has scored 16 leagues this season to help his side move into the top half of the table.

The 29-year old, who has made 221 appearances for the Cottagers and scored 59 goals since his move in January 2007, has still got a year left on his contract with Fulham, and Jol revealed that a move is afoot to keep him at the club for the next three years.
The Dutchman told the reporters, “As you know, we talked to him and hopefully he will sign a contract to keep him here for the next three years. If not, he's still our player because there is no club that has made an approach for him.”
When asked about Werner’s remarks about Dempsey, the Whites boss explained that he viewed it as nothing more than a compliment from a person who is unaware of the transfer rules and agreements.
He continued, “Of course it's nice if they are positive about him. I'm very positive about a few Liverpool players because I like them a lot but it doesn't mean we can afford to buy them. If a manager does that, it's different because it's a tap-up, but
if it's an owner, he probably doesn't know about the rules and agreements.”
