Joleon Lescott wants Manchester City to come back with a bang following exit from Champions League
Manchester City midfielder and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Joleon-Lescott-c18941 is amongst the City players who went on to beat Bayern Munich, but still suffered the humiliation of being knocked out of the Champions League.
However, unlike most of his team mates, Lescott has not let his hopes and ambitions get crushed, following their departure from the competition.
The player wants his side to get their act together and wishes for the team to come back with a bang.
City are set to take on Chelsea in their next Premier League game, which is set to take place on Monday night. As a result, the player is hoping for his teammates to really come together and prove their worth in the game.
When talking about what City need to do following their exit, a very calm and composed Lescott is quoted to have said: "We haven't focused on our Premier League form after Champions League games, we have just taken each game as it comes.”
The defender then went on to highlight the fact that City were still participating in four competitions, which meant that they could still bring hope a number of trophies by the end of the season.
"There is importance in every game we play and we are still in four competitions.”
"Obviously with the Champions League, it would have been nice to qualify, but the Europa League would still sit comfortably on the mantelpiece.”
"We weren't a seeded team and we knew we were going to get a tough group.”

However, City themselves were doing half decent and were going to be looking to produce a brilliant game, once
the two teams took off against each other on Monday night.
"It is a massive game." Lescott added. "They are on the back of two good results and we are doing well ourselves.”
"It is all there for an entertaining game."
Given the level of professionalism that City have gone on to adopt. The team is more than likely to go out against Chelsea with all guns blaring.
