The upcoming March 10, 2012 Salido-Lopez card is becoming more and more interesting and fan appealing since some more bouts were recently added by the organisers of the event.
According to the news, in the super bantamweight category, Jonathan Oquendo, the current WBO number two and in the lightweight category Jose A Gonzalez, the current WBO number five will also show their boxing feats in either the main or preliminary card
of the event.
Further details thrown in the media reveal that the challengers of both the men are still to be decided. The main bout of the event which will take place in the Coliseo Roberto Clemente situated in San Juan, Puerto Rico is in between the current WBO featherweight
champion Orlando Salido and Juan Manuel Lopez. The bout will have the Mexican Salido’s gold on the line.
Jonathan also known as the Polvo has been in a total 24 bouts and has won 22 of them. His wins include 15 by knock out. On March 10 against the undecided opponent the young 28-year-old will fight to capture the WBO Latino super bantamweight title.
Polvo qualified to become the number one contender for the belt after knocking out Jose Luis Araiza in just the second round of the 12-round brawl.
Gonzalez, infamous as the Chelo has an impressive record in his resume. He placed his well being at stake a total 18 times in the squared ring and emphatically came out victorious in all his bouts. The 28-year-old Chelo captured 13 wins by knocking out his
