Jonathan Stewart or James Hardy...?

I don't know who to draft. I have DeAngelo Williams and AP. I figure if I draft Stewart I get a starting rb either way. But James Hardy could help my team with him being a red zone threat.

  1. Draft Jonathan Stewart - Hardy will go undrafted in most leagues located outside of Indiana or his Mom's house. Hardy does have the skills to produce and may end up putting Colston like numbers but is a large unknown to most. Keep an eye on him and track the news coming out of camp. Either way, take Stewart first as he is being looked at as the starter right now and at worst a RBBC. Rookie RB's are far more likely to deliver stats than Rookie WR's.

  2. its always good to have a backup RB, plus deangelo hasnt really rpoved himself that much yet, so stewart could out shine him and be the starter

  3. take jonathan stewart. he'll get carries even with deangelo williams. he might also steal some goal line carries. james hardy is a big redzone threat, but buffalo's QBs are erratic. trent edwards will probably start for them, and his numbers don't surprise anyone. buffalo won't score too many TDs anyways.

  4. Stewart.

Rookie wideouts statistically don't become a force until their third year in the league.  For every Moss, Boldin or Colston, there have been hundreds of rookies that don't merit much consideration in a fantasy context.

Stewart will have every chance to win the starting job, and at the very least could emerge as a goalline back, or third-down back.  DeAngelo Williams can't stay healthy.

A rookie RB trumps a rookie wideout.

  5. take stewart as a handcuff for williams
