Last Ashes Test at Gabba left a positive psychological effect on the English players and the overall environment of their dressing room seems changed. Every member of the team is feeling too confident and eagerly waiting for the next Test
at Adelaide starting on 3 December.
Jonathan Trott is one of those English players full of enthusiasm who performed very well in the second innings of last Test at Gabba. He seems to continue the traditional dog fight which is followed by every English and Australian player
and fans alike.
Jonathan Trott has made only two Ashes appearances up to date and has acquired a hallmark of 100 runs each time that’s why he is looking too certain to go for the next Test in Adelaide.
On the other hand, Australia seems demoralised due to its bowling failure at Gabba being not able to get more than one wicket in second England innings. Australia is caught in decisions of selection of bowlers for the Adelaide Test for
which they have also called up Doug Bollinger and Ryan Harris on urgent basis to strengthen the bowling squad.
English players are confident of showing http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Australia-c746 another nightmare before they recover from the first Test failure. Although first Test went draw but the way English batsmen played in their second innings with nothing short of remarkable.
Before the first test, Jonathan was unable to score a fifty in all three warm up matches in Perth, Adelaide and Hobart and he also made only 29 runs in the first innings of Gabba test but the way he played in the second innings Test proves
that there is a long way to go for him in this Ashes series.
It was second time that he was able to put England to a safe place in the match with a brilliant second wicket stand of 329 runs with Alastair Cook. About his performance in the second innings of Gabba Test he said that although he entered
the match with a positive mind set but he was not able to make a big score for last couple of innings and that push was already laid by Andrew Strauss and Alastair Cook when I reached the crease at Gabba for second innings. Trott played a promising innings
of 135 runs and remained unbeaten on the last day of match at Gabba.
Next Ashes Test will also wholly depend upon the conditions as there seem to be some preparations for the unseasoned rain that can make the wicket at Adelaide more sporting but Damian Hough, the new ground curator told that he is expecting a traditional
pitch for this match at Adelaide. Now the time will show how confidence of English batsmen turns out at Adelaide if pitch turns out to be untraditional and Australia fight back with promising bowling attack.
