Jonathan Trott not too worried about his form – Cricket News

Trott, however, has not had the best of the series so far, having scored just 106 runs in the four innings, with the help of one half-century.
The 32-year-old cricketer thinks that he played an important knock in the first innings of the second Test but vows to convert his starts into big knocks in the remaining three matches of the series.
“I will get the runs. I hope so. I've felt good, actually. Sometimes you score runs and you're not feeling at the top of your game. I feel like I'm playing pretty well and it's been nice to get a couple of good partnerships, like with Bell at Lord's in a tricky situation, I suppose," said Trott. "We put on 99 and he went on and got the big score that I would have liked. But there are still three games left and personally it would be nice to contribute in a similar way.”
Since making his debut at the highest level of the sport in 2009, the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/South-Africa-c757 born cricketer has been an integral part of the English side, having done brilliantly in Test cricket as well as in the 50-overs version of the game.
Trott has so far represented England in 45 Tests, 65 One Day Internationals and seven T20 Internationals, having scored more than six thousand runs with the help of 13 centuries and 40 half-centuries.
The third Test of the all-important battle is going to begin from August 1, 2013, at the Old Trafford, Manchester, with the tourists hungry to make a comeback in the series.
