The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Toulouse-FC-c40751 defender has questioned PSG’s chances in Europe this season as he feels that the capital club is not yet capable of providing Ibrahimovic with an opportunity to win his first Champions League medal
Paris Saint-Germain have convinced AC Milan to part with the highly-rated http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sweden-c3015 international after the Italian giants accepted their mega-money offer for the player.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic is in search of his first ever Champions League crown. However, personal terms are yet to be agreed upon which means that the Swede is yet to become a PSG player.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jonathan-Zebina-c19071, who played alongside Ibrahimovic at Juventus, feels that the cash-laden Paris club is not yet at the same level with the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Manchester United.
While talking to reporters, the 33-year-old defender stated that in his view, the Sweden international has made a wrong choice in moving to Paris.
"He is looking for a club where he can win the Champions League, but Paris Saint-Germain winning the Champions League is not something that will happen in the near future if you ask me," stated Zebina.
Citing the example of English Premier League side Chelsea, who managed to secure their first Champions League crown last season after so many unsuccessful attempts, the Frenchman said that the former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan player could be disappointed by this latest
move in his career.
"We have all seen how long it took for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 to win it. Zlatan could be disappointed by PSG."
However, the former Juventus player was quick to praise Ibrahimovic and stated that the addition of the Swede to PSG will make them clear favourites for the Ligue 1 title next season.
The 33-year-old said that no one doubts Ibrahimovic’s ability as the striker has performed brilliantly for every club he has played with will make a huge difference at Parc des Princes.
"He has a very strong personality, and he has always made the difference at every club where he has played."
