Jonathan dos Santos should move to Real Zaragoza – La Liga debate
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Real-Zaragoza-c40344 want to sign Mexican international, Jonathan dos Santos, in their preparation for the upcoming La Liga campaign. The 21-year-old is unsettled at Camp Nou and is looking for a move away from Catalunya in search of increased first team action.
Zaragoza would like to add him to their growing roster. It is time for the starlet to moves away from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Barcelona-c39078.
Jonathan dos Santos is the younger brother of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Giovani-dos-Santos-c14983, a former La Masia graduate himself. He moved to England after a superb debut season with a depleted Barcelona team. The younger of the two, Jonathan has been a part of first team setup at
Camp Nou and featured five times for the reigning La Liga champions. He has had more first team action with his national team than his club, and is looking at his options at the moment.
Blessed with immaculate passing ability, he has been brought up well in the Blaugrana style of play. He is adept at playing a short passing game. Accomplished at spreading play from his conventional midfield position, the youngster likes to dictate the tempo
of the game. Attack minded in his instincts, the Mexican international is a different player compared to Xavi, whom he was speculated to replace. However, the startling rise of Barcelona’s another academy graduate, Thiago Alcântara, has hampered his progression
into the first team and minutes on the field have dried up.
A move to Zaragoza, especially in the circumstances mentioned, would be beneficial for his development, just like the club he will be joining. The club from Aragon have been under severe financial difficulties over the last couple of years. Voluntary administration
was the only option. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gabi-c14252 was their midfield general last year, scoring 10 goals as the club avoided relegation. But he left La Romareda for Atletico Madrid on a free transfer. A huge void has been created in his absence that Jonathan would look to fill.
At Manos, he will be reunited with Coach Javier Aguirre, under whom he has played for the national team. The coach is well aware with the abilities of his compatriot and seeks him as the right alternative for the outgoing Gabi. At Zaragoza, he will be the
key orchestrator, rather than a fringe player. He will be given the freedom to pull the strings from his central midfield position, something he has been unable to do regularly at Camp Nou.
Aguirre has brought together a team of enterprising individuals at Zaragoza. Graduates of La Masia and Castilla will work together as the Mexican coach looks to improve on the showings of his team. Manos were in relegation slot until the last day of matches,
and were able to steer clear thanks to a final day win. A repeat of these performances will not be tolerated by the club’s board that needs top flight status to ward off financial insecurities.
Jonathan dos Santos does not have a future at Camp Nou. He has been unable to carve a niche for himself in the first team at Catalunya and his recent digressions with prostitutes while away on national duty have done little to help his cause.
Zaragoza represents an excellent opportunity for him to gain playing minutes. With a coach interested in his services for a change, it will be in the best interests of all parties involved if a move goes through.
