Jordan expects Charlotte Bobcats will be 'Destination Franchise' for NBA’s best players: NBA Update
Michael Jordan, who is the owner of the Bobcats’ franchise, expects Charlotte Bobcats will be the ‘Destination Franchise’ for NBA’s best players in the near future. Jordan expressed his high aspirations for his team on Wednesday.
Jordan said, “I like to think that we're one of the teams that are a destination, why can't Charlotte be that destination? Jordan asked rhetorically. It has been in the past. It was. Why not now? I like to think we have the organization to do that. And I
will do everything I can. And now this is the first time we feel like we're going to have a pretty good summer because we have some flexibility.”
There is certain news that the Bobcats have lost a major financial interest in this particular season, but Michael Jordan never showed any distress while stating about the new optimism for his franchise. He further told the media that his franchise is still
in a very good position to spend money to bring more fire power in their roster.
He seemed enough confidant when he said, “I don't want people to think we're not willing to spend, I want to spend money for a team that's going to get us in the top four (in the Eastern Conference), the top three We want to invest. To get where we have
to go, we know we have to.”
The NBA is all about to get ready for the next quick move. The particular fact Jordan was talking about was to induct more free agents into their team at the right time. Jordan certainly knows how a good and talented player can change the franchise’s future.
He also explained his statement as they are heading into a pretty good summer season, where without any difficulty the whole Bobcats’ management will be thinking seriously to draft this year’s players with best possible options for their franchise.
The Charlotte Bobcats could not qualify for this year’s play-offs, but the way Michael Jordan is taking interest and doing hard-work on his team is overwhelming. By all means he was the greatest basketball player the world has ever witnessed and now his
firm objective to take the Charlotte Bobcats to another level shows the true commitment the game he always loved.
