Jordane or Jett or Jackxin

My friends having a boy in 3 months. they want ot name it

Jordane(Jor-Dane not Jordan) Mathue(Matthew)

or

Jett Dean

or

Jackxin Jordane

I really like Jett, but I don't think it sounds that great with Dean.

Jordane is ok.

I don't like the weird spellings. How is the kid going to learn to spell his name? All the other "Matt"s in his school will be writing "Matthew" and he'll have to write Mathue, Or Jackson, and he'llbe writing Jackxin, and it will be wierd for him. The teachers will probably have problems with it too. I know a girl who's name was Kahtija, but pronounced like Katia, and her teachers were always spelling it wrong, and she would spell it wrong (in like first, secod grade) so the teachers would take points off her papers because "she needs to know how to spell her own name!" When the girl was fifteen, after years of begging her mother to let her change the spelling, her dad finally took her to have the spelling legally changed to Katia.

If those are my only three choices, I'll pick Jett Dean.  It's very masculine and very uncommon, and its spelling hasn't been butchered.  

I strongly dislike the name Jordane -- it sounds ghetto (sorry).  Matthue seems like an unnecessarily complicated choice of spelling, unless there's a family precedent for spelling it that way.  And the spelling of Jackxin is just ridiculous -- it utterly defies English spelling conventions.  Jackson -- great.  Jaxon -- still okay.  Jackxin -- absolutely not!

Jackxin is a hideous spelling.  I actually made a face when I read it.  Why don't they just spell it Jackson? Are they really that concerned about the name being "unique"?

I don't care for any of these names, really.

I like Jett.  I don't like the Dean.  I also like Jackson, but I don't like the way she spelled it.  This kid for the rest of his life is going to have to go around spelling his name for everyone.  There's just no reason to start changing the spellings up that much.  He's going to look like a kid who doesn't know how to spell.
