The Spanish national team is going to face http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Valencia-c40863 full-back believes that his team is still hungry for more silverware.
The Spanish national team managed to write its name in the history books, as they did not only manage to win the FIFA World Cup back in 2010, they also managed to win the Euro twice in succession, in 2008 and 2012.
There is not a single team that has managed to achieve this feat in the history of football and that is the reason why the Spanish side is still considered to be the favourites to win the FIFA World Cup taking place in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Brazil-c2858 in 2014.
There are many who believe that since the current Spanish squad has achieved each and every trophy within their reach, they are not hungry for more titles. However, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jordi-Alba-c19111 thinks otherwise and the former Valencia full-back is of the opinion that the
team is still hungry for more titles.
While speaking about winning more titles, the Spanish full-back was quoted as saying:
“The Euro was my first title, but a lot of my colleagues have won a lot with this team and still have the hunger to win more. This is a great generation of players, and we are still very young. The young players haven't been with the team as long, but we
still have the same desire to win.”
The Spanish national team will be facing Georgia on 11th of September 2012, as the FIFA World Cup qualifiers have started.
While speaking about the upcoming fixture, Alba said:
“They will be tough opponents, but the other teams are there for a reason. We are the champions, so everyone wants to beat us.”
The Spanish national team is currently considered to win the upcoming FIFA World Cup, after topping their group during the FIFA World Cup qualification.
After managing to achieve each and every trophy within their reach, this Spanish national team is expected to do wonders as they considered to be one of the best sides in the history of football.
