When Josep Guardiola left Barcelona, many thought that all hope was gone for one of the best teams in the history of football.
However, the Catalan giants decided to appoint Guardiola’s right-hand man, Tito Vilanova, as their head-coach and things worked out fine for them.
A lot was expected from Tito Vilanova and even though he did not manage to win the Supercopa de Espana against Real Madrid, he is currently leading the Spanish La Liga title race as he is sitting at the top of the table, winning all the three games which
La Blaugrana have played.
This season is extremely important for not only Tito Vilanova but also Real Madrid, as both the teams need to win against each other in order to take the bragging rights.
As soon as Tito Vilanova joined Barcelona, he told the management that he will be signing at least two defensive players and Jordi Alba was the first one.
In a recent interview, the Spanish full-back hailed his coach, Tito Vilanova, and highlighted how he has been helpful for him during his stay at the Nou Camp.
While speaking about the Catalan coach, Alba said:
“I did not know him personally when I came here, but I've found out he's a hard working Coach, who helps you in every way possible. He is very close to the players. I am very happy that Tito is my Coach. He helps a lot in all aspects.”
Jordi Alba also spoke highly about the best player in the world, Lionel Messi, who is always expected to put up a show when he wears the Barcelona jersey.
The Spanish full-back praised his Argentinean team-mate and openly said that Messi can do things which no other in the world can do.
While speaking about the Argentinean maestro, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jordi-Alba-c19111 said:
“Messi does things that nobody can do, be it at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 or elsewhere. But I'm used to it now. Everyone at the club is great though. There people who would do anything for the shirt, go anywhere. I've just been impressed by the club's greatness.”
Alba is currently on international duty, as the Spanish national team will be facing http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Georgia-c2903 on 11th of September during the FIFA World Cup 2014’s qualifiers.
