The Spanish full-back has been injured for a little while now but after the injury to Adriano, Alba will make a comeback into the team and will be playing against Sevilla on the upcoming weekend.
Jordi Alba will be making his comeback when the Spanish giants, Barcelona, play their next Spanish La Liga game on the upcoming weekend.
Since his arrival at the Catalan club, Jordi Alba has not been fully fit and has been struggling with his fitness.
This is not because he has injury issues; in fact, this is because of the international break which came in at an awkward time during the season.
After playing throughout the Euro 2012, Jordi Alba returned to the Nou Camp and tried to make a name for himself in the Barcelona first-team.
However, since he was fatigued, Tito Vilanova tried not to rush him into the first-team and played him as a substitute.
Later, another international break saw Jordi Alba playing for the Spanish national team and after picking up an injury and then suffering from a severe flue; the Spaniard had to be benched by the Catalan coach, Tito Vilanova.
During this time, Barcelona were relying on the Brazilian star, Adriano, who is not really considered to be a first-choice player for them.
During the upcoming weekend, Barcelona will be taking on Sevilla, a team which has beaten Real Madrid during the league.

The Spanish full-back spoke about the game against Sevilla and said:
“We have an eight-point advantage, it’s important because they are a direct rival, but we have to focus on Sevilla, they are the team that have conceded the least amount of goals this season.
“Jesus Navas is a great player, he’s incredibly fast and he creates danger every match he plays in. It doesn’t matter who gets the start, we’ll try to stop him.”
