i think kids will slaughter it when she gets to school.  its very cute, orignal though. at first glance i didnt care for it.  i think jordyn is trying to hard though.  maybe jordin.

Are you (your sis, her baby's daddy) from Hawaii?  Of Hawaiian ancestry?  Does the name have special meaning to your family?

If the answer's yes, then by all means, go for it - it's a beautiful name!

Jordan is a more masculine name, but when spelled the Y it does lend more of a feminine touch to it.  JMO

  my niece's name is jordyn.  spelled just like that.  i love it.  her middle name is marie tho. you can't butcher it if you can read.  i say go for it!!  great name!

It's really pretty. The only thing that makes me feel a little weird about these names is that they're from two different ethnicities...and that one is traditional, while the other is a modern variation. Those are just my preferences...but I still think it sounds nice =)
