After being forced out of the Spanish capital by Jose Mourinho, Valdano is enjoying his sabbatical but refused to rule out a return in the future.

Despite the ill manner of divorce between the former Argentine international and Los Blancos, the 56-year-old believes he will return to Bernabeu in the future, before admitting that he is happy with his time away.
Valdano commented that Real Madrid is a part of his life where he has served in different capacities; starting as a player, going on to train the reserve and first team, taking on position of sporting director, and culminating his latest affair as
the general director.
"It is healthy for me to be out of the club every once in a while. I have entered and left Madrid five times in my life: player, youth coach, senior coach, sporting director and general director.”
"I do not rule out a return, but that is something I am not aspiring to."
Valdano admitted that he prefers a coach who is in a different mould as compared to Jose Mourinho.
When quizzed about his favourite coach, the former attacking midfielder named the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 manager, Josep Guardiola.

"His sensitivity is opposite to mine and that is more than enough for us not to be able to get along."

Real Madrid’s fortunes have changed for the better since Valdano departed the Spanish capital in the summer of 2011. Los Blancos lead La Liga rankings by ten points as the season enters its final stretch.
With only ten domestic meetings remaining, the Santiago Bernabeu-based outfit are on road to claim their 32nd Spanish league title.
In addition to La Liga title, Real can also possible add to their tally of 9 European titles. Los Blancos are in the quarter-finals of the elite European club competition, and are primed to progress to the semi-finals at the expense of Cypriot minnows,
APOEL Nicosia.
