The Olympique de Marseille sporting director was relatively quiet during the summer transfer window but has hinted at the possibility of signing a few recruits during the upcoming winter transfer window

January transfer window.
While giving an interview to beIN Sport, the Marseille sporting director spoke about his satisfaction at the club’s performance in the first half of the campaign and also said that coach, Elie Baup would be given necessary means to make sure that the club’s
performances on the field keep on improving.
Anigo said that apart from two hefty home defeats at the hands of Olympique Lyonnais and Lorient, the team has done reasonably well and the club is well placed to compete for a podium finish. And, Anigo has hinted that there will be some activity in January.

Anigo says that the club is already working on what to do make sure that the club makes a good start to the second half of the campaign even though the current group is more complete and balanced unlike last season.

And, Anigo says that there exists a possibility of the 29-year-old’s arrival at the club either in January or in June 2013.
“This is a player who will be able to engage with where he wants to from January to June. He is a player who we have followed for some time. He could have arrived this summer. There is a possibility for January or June. We’ll see,” concluded the sporting
director thus confirming that the club’s recruitment cell is in for the long haul after Christmas break.
