These days, Olympique de Marseille chairman Vincent Labrune and coach Didier Deschamps keep on making appearances in media and discuss the happenings in club. On the contrary, sporting director Jose Anigo has preferred to remain quiet in recent weeks.
Didier Deschamps and Jose Anigo have enjoyed a fiery relationship in recent times and their problems have been well-documented in media. However, Jose Anigo has now said that he wants things to return to normal with the Phoceens coach.
Anigo said that he understands the needs of a coach and he keeps in touch with the president as well. Anigo also added that he still talks to Didier Deschamps on the phone frequently. Anigo also said that under his direction, the club won the Championelle

Anigo then said that he wants things to normalize between him and Deschamps.
“At one point, you start talking. We are not children. Even though we will never be the best of friends, nothing prevents us from talking,” Anigo said before talking a bit about the club’s transfer activity this winter.
