While talking to RMC, Olympique de Marseille sporting director Jose Anigo spoke about his issues with Didier Deschamps and reiterated his commitment with Les Phoceens.
While talking to RMC a few days back, Marseille coach Didier Deschamps admitted that there were some issues with Jose Anigo but said that he was always committed for the greater good of the club.
While talking to the media, Anigo admitted that people have always spoken about his and Deschamps’ differences but said that those issues have never stopped the two from working together. Anigo further added that every role is defined by the president of

Rumours circulated a few days back that Anigo might leave the Stade Velodrome. However, the Frenchman has said that he never once considered leaving the Rhone club.
“If the club wins in the end and everyone does what they have to do, why would I even slam the exit door? All people working in this club like working here. This is my case. The only thing that interests me is that the club starts winning,” stressed Anigo
thus confessing his love for the club.
Anigo’s statement clearly means that the Sporting Director is willing to bear or all the pressure on his shoulders and would not let his complicated relationship with Didier Deschamps destroy the foundations of the club.
Anigo also emphasised that having differences with one another is a normal things and situations such as this exist in all football clubs.
Since Marseille’s 3-0 victory in the Clasico over Paris Saint-Germain on Sunday night, everything has changed within the club and the club has given fans a sign of good things to come.
Jose Anigo’s recent statements would certainly be appreciated by Vincent Labrune and Margarita Dreyfus. The two men, Deschamps and Anigo are going to be in their respective positions come the end of the campaign and the two will have to put their differences
aside in order to help Marseille recover from a terrible start to the season where winning games was perhaps the hardest thing for the Rhone giants.
