It was like Man vs Boy!  Just because Canseco is big that doesn't mean he can fight.  Vai is a former athlete and a former golden gloves boxer.

Who do you think would win?  Nicolai Valuev vs Muhammad Ali?  Same concept!

He was out-matched. But Jose has been training in Muay Thai for several years now. Anyone who read his book [do people even read anymore] would know this. And the "black belt" in MT that is referenced in the "article" is just poor reporting. He would never claim a BB in MT, but there is no such thing. Some reporters are donkeys.

Sikahemma had 80 amateur boxing bouts.  I am not trying to defend Canseco; but, I really think you would find a lot of large pro athletes who would struggle against what was in essence a near pro level boxer in this day.  Who would you bet  on if Sikahemma fought any retired player from any league?  Assuming the same age range.  Maybe Shaq would be the one.  In his 40s, he will still have his sheriff's training to fall back on!
