Jose Couceiro dismisses Anzhi Makhachkala transfer talks

Couceiro has denied moving to Anzhi and tipped Lokomotiv Moscow to sign an attacker during this transfer window. 
Lokomotiv Moscow head coach, Jose Couceiro, has revealed that the Moscow-based club need to increase competition between the Parovozy strikers by signing a forward during this transfer window.
However, the Portuguese coach remained tight-lipped over details of the possible target.
Reports in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Russia-c2991 had earlier suggested that Lokomotiv are interested in signing out-of-favour Anzhi Makhachkala players.
Following Suleyman Kerimov’s takeover, the Dagestani club have made expensive purchases during the last two transfer windows. The likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Yuri-Zhirkov-c37683 and Samuel Eto’o all have joined the ambitious
Russian outfit since then.
But, at the same time, these signings have shown exit door to some of the old wood at the Makhachkala stadium.

an unimpressive Russian Premier League campaign.
However, Couceiro has denied approaching Anzhi Makhachkala players and distanced the Russian outfit from their players, at least for now.
"If you cannot mention the names and detail of the desired players, it is not a news, it’s rumours. Can you provide us any evidence for approaching Anzhi players? Are we going after them? ” Mocked Couceiro
However he admitted that the Russian outfit could go for an attacker.
“We need competition in the line of attack. I would not like to talk about it at the moment.” He said
In the meanwhile, the former Sporting Lisbon care taking manager revealed that he is not jealous of the Dagestani club and appreciated their efforts to bring in quality players and names to the Russian top division.
“I do not see anything wrong with Anzhi having a good budget. They are professional and they know how to conduct a business.” The 49-year-old was quoted as saying.
Speaking on the Railroaders striker, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Aleksandr-Minchenkov-c4594, Couceiro revealed that the Russian forward wanted to play regularly, so the Red-greens leased him out to Dynamo Bryansk.
