<p>Lokomotiv Moscow won 3-0 against FC Tom Tomsk in the latest Russian Premier League encounter at Lokomotiv Stadium. The Loko head coach, Jose Couceiro, has expressed his joy at the victory at home, demanding consecutive wins in the remaining matches of the
season.</p>
<p>The Red-Greens managed to score the opening goal of the match after Tomsk Right-back, Ovidiu Dănănae, was sent off. In the second period, the Parovozy dominated the match and managed to score two more goals, thus claiming a deserved win against the Siberian
at home.</p>
<p>“From the moment we opened the account and had the numerical advantage, Lokomotiv were in full control of the game. Although there have been incidents where players were losing concentration but in general we met a strong opponent and won deservedly.” The
former Sporting Lisbon care taking manager was quoted as saying.</p>
<p>Couceiro believes that Tomsk did not deserve relegation this season. The Portuguese tactician revealed that Loko are one of the best teams in Russia and hoped for a similar performance against AEK Athens in the group stages of the UEFA Europa League.</p>
<p>The Parovozy won the opening group stage clash against Sturm Graz before suffering a 2-0 defeat against RSC Anderlecht. The former FC Porto manager revealed that the Moscow-based club need to be careful if they are to progress to the later stages of the
Europa League.</p>
<p>“We have a number of players out injured, and tonight I'm beginning to think about who will play on Thursday. I made all three substitutions to give the players a rest.”</p>
<p>Speaking on the team’s good run, the Portuguese added: “If not mistaken, we have only lost against Anderlecht in last 17 games.”</p>
<p>Couceiro admitted that the best team on the pitch won the match and highlighted that Loko kept their heads high and did not lose hope. The former Atletico Clube de Portugal player revealed that Red-Greens are playing quality football at the moment and assured
the fans of a decent spot on the league table.</p>
