In the latest round of UEFA Europa League action, Lokomotiv Moscow won 2-1 against Athletic Bilbao at Luzhniki stadium.

In the aftermath of the outcome, Jose Couceiro, has expressed his satisfaction on the latest win against the Spanish outfit. However, he warned the Parovozy against complacency, revealing that they will have to work very hard for
the return leg in Spain.
The Portuguese head coach praised the Russian outfit’s character during the European match despite the fact that Lokomotiv were lacking match practice as compared to the Biscay-based club.
"Athletic are a decent club with good players. We struggled during the first half due to lack of match practice, but in the second period, we have demonstrated what we are capable of.
“We have missed certain opportunities because of our own mistakes but our players did not lose heart and fought until the very end. We need to be more careful in defence though.
"In addition, our defenders and midfielders have caught the opponent’s on counterattacks. In the second half we fixed the flaw and we could have scored more than two goals.” The 49-year-old was quoted as saying.
He went on to express his desire to reach the stages of the Cup tournament and urged his team to score at least one more goal if they are to progress form the round-of-16.
Couceiro lamented Maicon’s disqualification for the return leg after the striker picked up his third yellow card of the ongoing European campaign.
