The Nerazzurri co-owner is keen to have the former head coach back from Real Madrid but insists that the club are no longer interested in signing the Argentinean striker.
Inter Milan co-owner, Marco Tronchetti Provera, has expressed his desire to have Real Madrid boss, Jose Mourinho, back at San Siro.
Mourinho managed the Nerazzurri from 2008 until 2010, and helped the club to win five major trophies including the famous treble in 2010. Immediately after helping them to treble, Mourinho left Inter to join Spanish giants, Real
Madrid.
Provera insisted that the Nerazzurri fans have great affection for the Portuguese tactician, and they will welcome him back one day.
The co-owner was talking to the media recently where he expressed his desire to see the Treble winning coach back at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza. Marco Tronchetti Provera said:
“Mourinho is linked to so many emotions for all http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 fans. So why shouldn’t he return in the future?”
Provera also praised the current Inter tactician, Claudio Ranieri, for the impressive http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 he has done at the club so far. The Nerazzurri had a shaky start to the season but they have managed to regain momentum, and are now among
the front-runners of the league. The Italian giants are placed 4th in the league table, only six points behind leaders, Juventus.
“We are happy with the situation at the minute and we are going well with Claudio Ranieri, but the life of the squad is the priority. Ranieri has done really well,” Tronchetti Provera continued.
“He’s given the right spirit to the squad and the players have re-found themselves. The surge up the table has been marvellous. Now every game is like a Final and we’ll look to get back into the Champions League zone,” concluded
the Inter board member.
The co-owner confirmed that the Nerazzurri are no longer interested in signing Carlos Tevez. Manchester City recently rejected a 25 million Euros offer placed by Inter. Provera is happy with the current squad and believes that
they do not need Tevez anymore.
