Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho, believes that the uncertainty surrounding Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney could affect the club. He admitted that every club is looking to add new players to the squad as early as possible and that leaving the signings to the very end of the transfer window could be a huge risk.
Mourinho joined Chelsea from Real Madrid earlier this summer and has already added the likes of Andre Schurrle to his ranks. The manager admitted that he is a huge fan of Wayne Rooney and his club made an official bid for the striker last week which was rejected by the Red Devils.
The Portuguese boss stressed that every club is looking to add the transfers to the squad as early in the summer as possible. “The sooner you have the players the better. You know the squad you have, you know what you have to work with, you have time for that. But, yes, he [Moyes] is right. The market is open until September 2 and many clubs are waiting to the last moment to make their decisions, and those decisions affect a number of other clubs,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.

“In that aspect, we are okay because we don't have players to sell, so none of my players is leaving under any circumstances. Many teams will be under pressure until the last moment without knowing how the squad is going to be,” he concluded.
Mourinho will be looking to bring success back to the London-based club. The side has failed to win the Premier League title in the recent past with the Manchester clubs dominating.
