However, it was at the headquarters of Club Deportivo Taps, where a special surprise gift was prepared for the Portuguese tactician. While picking up his son Joseph Mario from training, the 'younglings' sang the happy birthday chorus for
him and had a feast in his honour.
The coaching staff of Canillas honoured Mourinho with a chocolate cake, prepared lovingly for the occasion. Adorned with the shields of Real Madrid and Canillas, an ecstatic Mourinho enjoyed the ceremony among the children.
Without losing his charismatic smile, Mourinho spread the cake among the youngsters and later shared a cup of hot chocolate with them.
The Portuguese appreciated the nice gesture of the institution, and posted pictures of the memorable evening with the youngsters on his website.

After a turbulent week, encouragement from those around him must have been relaxing for the 49-year-old.
Mourinho had had a close affinity with Canillas ever since his son joined the club last season. He is a common presence in their matches and training. He has been influential in keeping children with modest backgrounds on the playing grounds,
paying their tuitions since the start of the campaign.
