Jose Mourinho misses England

Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho revealed that he still prefers working in England and is not too worried about the critics at Real Madrid. The Special One was presented with a challenge worth his skills when he took up
the job in Spain over the summer. He is used to getting off to winning starts, but that was not to be at Madrid as his side has been struggling apart from their impressive wins over Espanyol and Deportivo.
Mourinho went on to talk about his popularity with the Spanish media, but what the Portuguese manager was forgetting was that he has been popular with the media wherever he has gone. It was at his arrival at Stamford Bridge
that he announced himself as the Special One and that name has stuck to him since then. The only difference in Spain is that Mourinho is not liked by the media too much, however, he isn’t bothered.
The Portuguese tactician is well aware that dealing with the media is part of the job, and he is really good at it. Mourinho is undoubtedly one of the greatest managers in the world, and possibly one of the youngest to have
achieved all that he has in such a small period. He said, “How am I going to worry when so many people have something to say about me? There isn't one interview that doesn't mention me in the Spanish press. Imagine if I was concerned about it.”
Mourinho also mentioned how he knew the Madrid job would be a challenge when he decided to take it up in the summer. He won the treble with Italian side Inter Milan and decided it was time to move on, and what would have
been a better choice than the troubled Spanish giants. The former Chelsea and Inter Milan manager went on to talk about his exceptional record as a coach; he has a habit of winning silverware wherever he goes.
His winning streak started at his home side FC Porto where he won the Champions League. His next stop was London based club Chelsea; even though he did not win the coveted European Cup with the Blues, he did very well to
dominate the English League domestically. In Italy, his best year so far, he won the treble, as mentioned earlier. He said, “I think that Real Madrid cannot have a coach with no track record. I have won two Champions Leagues and six league titles in different
countries. I have won 17 titles in total. There were many doubters when I got here. Real Madrid cannot have a coach without status or prestige and he must be given room to work with.”
Mourinho also spoke about his love for his job; the Portuguese mentioned his experience in different countries and stated how England was his favourite. Many fans in England would take this as a sign that the Special One
has plans of returning back some day and that might be true, but Chelsea fans should not get their hopes up too high because even if he returns, it is highly unlikely that he will return to Stamford Bridge. If anywhere, there is a strong possibility that Mourinho
will manage Manchester United after Sir Alex Ferguson retires.
