The Portuguese coach feels as though his side deserved to lose against Sevilla, while falling eight points behind Barcelona in La Liga.

With http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Piotr-Trochowski-c30046 scoring his goal and securing Sevilla three points in La Liga, Madrid ended up losing their second match in four which they have played.
Now Mourinho has to go through the tedious task of picking his team for their match against Manchester City, the Premier League title holders of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749.
With their Champions League match against City coming up on Tuesday, it seems as though Madrid are not up for the task, or so their manager believes.
Jose Mourinho stated that his team ended up suffering from the very beginning of the match, and were not able to pick up the pace. He also stated that Sevilla deserved to win, while Real Madrid were deserving losers.
“From the first to the last minute we were poor,” said Mourinho. “They really deserved to win and we deserved the loss more... Congratulations to them- we got what we deserved for how badly we played.”
However, he did not put all the blame on his team and took some of the heat, claiming that he is also to be blamed.
He stated how worried he is for Madrid over how they have not been able to make any major impact since the start of the season.
“At this time my team isn’t up to scratch but I’m the coach and the responsibility is mine,” said Mourinho.
“I worry about my team and the fact that since the start of the official season we have only played well in the Super Cup, a little big against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Valencia-c40863 and a little bit against Granada.”
“At this moment I have no team,” said the Portuguese manager.
He also commented on http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ronaldo-c31734’s recent issues and whether he is to blame for the match, and whether his lack of commitment was an issue.
The manager replied by stating that all the blame cannot be put on Ronaldo and that other members of the team are also not showing the proper level of commitment, and do not feel that football is a major priority.
Jose Mourinho will have to face Manchester City on Tuesday, and he is hoping that by then his team will be able to face up to the challenge, and show their commitment to the club.
