Jose Mourinho’s dream eleven for Madrid
Over the past couple of weeks, Real Madrid’s new manager, Jose Mourinho has been looking to lure players to the club and line up moves for certain players away from the club. All of this activity in the transfer market has led experts to believe that Mourinho has a dream team in his mind for Madrid this coming season. Here is a look at that team.
At the goal he is going to want to retain Casillas who has arguably been the greatest goal keeper over the last decade. He just won the World Cup with Spain and is currently in the form of his life. He will also quite possibly retain his captain’s arm band under Mourinho. There is no replacement for Casillas available out there and Mourinho is well aware of this fact.
At the right back position he is currently looking to lure Maicon to the club from Inter Milan. Ramos who is the current right back at the club is by no means a bad player but Mourinho knows that the best right back in the world at the moment is Maicon. Maicon has also admitted to wanting to play under Mourinho again and it would be a dream move for him. He won the treble with Inter last season and would be looking to build on that success.
In the centre of defence Mourinho will be looking to play Carvalho and Pepe. Pepe is already a member of the Madrid squad so he will have no problems there, but he still needs to lure Carvalho away from Chelsea. Carvalho recently admitted to wanting to run of fly to Madrid if the opportunity was to arise and it looks like that is just what he will be doing if Mourinho could have his way.
At the left back position Mourinho will be looking to bring in another Chelsea player, Ashley Cole. Cole is currently feeling very unsettled in England and has been looking to move away from the country for a while now. If a decent formal offer is to be made for the player then it is more than likely that he will be wearing the Madrid white strip this coming season.
Mourinho will be looking to play with two defensive midfielders. That has always been his preference with teams that he manages. This time around he is wishing to have Khedira and Alonso do that job for him. Alonso is already a Madrid player and a deal for Khedira has apparently been completed which means the German will be on his way to Madrid in a day or two.
The three attacking midfielders that he is looking to use are, Di Maria, Ronaldo and Kaka. He currently already has those three players in his squad. Kaka will be playing a central role in the attacking midfield position, however if a decent offer comes for the Brazilian he might just let him go and bring in Ozil instead. On the right he will be looking to play the always in form Ronaldo and on the left he will be looking to play his new Argentinean winger, Angel Di Maria.
Upfront he will look no further then the Argentinean goal scoring machine Higuain. Higuain has finally reached his peak and Mourinho is well aware of that fact. He will be looking to make the ace goal poacher try and do the best that he possibly can under Mourinho and if he manages to do as his manager expects of him, it would impossible for any team to stop Real Madrid this coming season.
