Jose Tabata all set to be back in Pittsburg Pirates – MLB news
A fractured bone in the left hand of Jose Tabata of the Pittsburgh Pirates, that had left the outfielder unable to play earlier, has healed according to reports on Monday, December 19. The player has got a green signal from the medical staff of the Pirates
to joining the playing line-up.
The outfielder currently affiliated with the Pittsburgh Pirates is also said to have commenced practicing. The report, beyond any shadow of doubt, brings a sense of reassurance in the team that it is all ready to take up challenges in the next season.
It is important to recall that the outfielder hardly had a smooth season largely due to the problems he confronted. For example, hamstring tightness and a quadriceps strain barely allowed him to represent the team when needed. The health report that has
come, testifies to the fact that the player is now all set to play as the practice session has formally begun.
Citing nervousness as the key factor earlier, he said he wanted to feel better prior to kicking off practice. “I was a little nervous because I wanted to feel good,” Tabata said. “Now, I am feeling pretty good. I'm ready to roll.”
What has remained a distinguished feature of this player is the consistency that he has exhibited. Even though a rookie, he had come forward as a promising player, possessing ability to inspirit the team offence. For example, when he began the career as
a rookie this past season, he scored no less than 53 runs with a wonderful average of .299, having 18 doubles to his credit and four home runs during the season until the injuries took him away from the game.
Consistency, like said earlier, would be a key for him. “I felt like I got better,” Tabata said of his sophomore season. “But I want to keep getting more consistent.”
The Pittsburgh Pirates did not have a particularly good season this year, as they failed to qualify for the playoffs owing to their poor performance in the regular season. With players returning, and the roster upgraded, it remains to be seen how the team
regroups in the next season.
